Pick up the clients from the hotel to visit The House by the Klong’ – the home of the legendary  Father of Thai Silk -- Jim Thompson – an American businessman who came to Thailand after the 2nd World War. His disappearance in the Malaysian jungle remains a mystery to this day. His residence – housing some of the richest collections of benjarong (the traditional multi-coloured Thai porcelain) in Thailand today, and other Asian art objects – is now a museum, and a favourite stop not to be missed.
