BKK - 08: CITY AND TEMPLE TOUR, Half day

The tour is operated 07.30 to 12.30 hrs. for the morning tour and 13.00 to 17.00 hrs. for the afternoon tour

This tour takes in some of Bangkok’s most beautiful temples and starts at Wat Trimit the Temple of the Golden Buddha, which has one of the biggest and oldest images in gold. It measures 3 meters high and weighs 5 ½ tons. Continue through bustling Chinatown to Wat Pho, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, where the 46 meter long figure of Buddha is covered entirely in gold leaf. The final stop is the more recent Wat Benchamabophit, the Marble Temple, built in 1899. A magnificent example of Thai architecture, the temple contains a renowned collection of Buddha images. The tour also passes through the busy China town section.
