Visit the fascinating upcountry floating market at Damnern Saduak about 100 km from Bangkok in Ratchburi province. This market is still unspoiled by the modern influences of the city. Continue to Nakorn Pathom, regarded as the oldest city in Thailand. Here sits the Phra Pathom Chedi, which is the tallest in the world. The golden tiled dome of the Chedi tower almost 116m in the air looks like inverted bowl, and is visible from miles away.

After lunch, proceed to the Rose Garden country resort in the midst of rural scenery, the resort offers well-maintained gardens, a beautiful lake, several Thai-style houses and a wide range of floral displays. There is also the Thai village where you can see a presentation of Thai life including the monk's ordination procession, sword fighting, folk dancing and a wedding ceremony. You can even ride an elephant. Handicrafts are on sale and may be purchased at the numerous shops in the "Village"
