MHU - 06: TREKKING MAE HONG SON AREA, 3 DAYS/2 NIGHTS

DAY 1: CHIANG MAI – LISU HILLTIRBE VILLAGE – KAREN HILL TRIBE VILLAGE
08.30 hrs. Depart Chiang Mai by local truck for 3 hours to Pai and visit local market.
12.30 hrs. Lunch at a local restaurant.
13.00 hrs. Drive to the Lisu hill tribe village. Leave our truck and start trekking towards the Karen hill tribe village for 1½ hour. Where we will spend our first night.
17.30 hrs. Arrive the village.
18.30 hrs. Dinner and overnight at Karen hill tribe village.

DAY 2: KAREN HILLTRIBE VILLAGE – LAHU HILLTRIBE VILLAGE – LISU HILLTRIBE VILLAGE – MAE HONG SON

07.30 hrs.  Early breakfast at the village.
08.30 hrs.   Trek through the High Mountain and green jungle to the Red Lahu hill tribe village.
13.00 hrs. Lunch at Lahu hill tribe village
 14.00 hrs.  Continue by foot for about 1½ hour to another Lisu hill tribe village to catch the truck.
16.00 hrs. Drive towards high way to Mae Hong Son for exciting rafting on Pai River, overnight at Mae Hong Son guesthouse.
17.00 hrs.  Arrive Mae Hong Son, transfer to guesthouse in Mae Hong Son.
18.30 hrs. Dinner and overnight at guesthouse in Mae Hong Son.

DAY 3: MAE HONG SON –

ELEPHANT RIDE – BOAT – LONG NECK – CHIANG MAI

08.30 hrs. Breakfast at the guesthouse.
09.30 hrs  Leave Mae Hong Son, drive towards to elephant camp for elephant riding through the jungle for 1 hour.
11.30 hrs. Continue by boat to visit the Padong Long-neck hill tribe village (Nam Peingdin). Then drive back to Mae Hong Son, visit temples in the city.
12.30 hrs Lunch at local restaurant in Mae Hong Son restaurant. Transfer to airport for return to Chiang Mai.
